Just received these raw bananas fresh from my father- in- laws farm. Yes…. they were just cut from the tree and put in our car. Very rare to get those fresh. These are subji bananas not to be mistaken with the regular ones. So here is something for people who love fish and can’t do without it on days like Tuesday or Thursday. It has similar flavor and texture without the fishy smell, but of course you can’t replace the original……

  1. Make a paste of ginger, garlic, chillies, coriander.
  2. Slicing the raw bananas can be quite tricky. They have a tendency to be very sticky. So your best option would be to oil your palms and the knife liberally.
  3. Peel the bananas and cut them length vise. The slices shouldn't be very thin.
  4. Mix the paste, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt in a bowl. Apply it to the banana slices
