My test kitchen is in full swing , when my husband is not there for meals at home… It means i m free from the regular cooking of roti subjis, and can freely experiment , with whatever I have at home. So even if the new invention does not go well , I still can survive on Maggi!! And , I wont feel guilty of keeping my husband hungry!( I normally dont take chances when my husband and In Laws are at home, always play safe , when cooking for them) But with my toddler, he’s just like me….loves most of what I cook , especially when I cook something Firang! Loves cakes, cookies , and ofcourse Noodles and Rice. And this one was a hit !! He loved the rice and the sausages too!! What more does a Mom want!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or kadhai , add garlic and saute for 1 min. Add sliced onion and fry till translucent, add sausages and fry for 1-2 mins , till cooked. Add eggs and scramble them in the kadhai. Now add capsicum , cabbage and stir fry on high flame
  2. Add the salt and lemon juice. Add spring onion greens and mix. Cook covered for 1 min. Serve hot. You can also make this without tom yum paste , if you dont have one. The sausages add a nice twist and taste to the rice!

Hi! I am Sonali, mom to a fast growing teenager and a homemaker.I love to cook, read and travel ( and in that order). I believe that travel keeps the cook ever so innovative. Each time I travel, I scourge the market places and eateries for some new ingredient or recipies. I believe that every type of cuisine has its own story to relate……One that’s fascinating.Being born and brought up in Mumbai which is often called “a melting pot of culinary delights” helped me explore and experiment with a wide range of cuisines. So come share with me the tang of lime, the bite of chilli, the fresh herbs, the crunch of raw veggies and experience the wide spectrum of textures and sharp flavours of different cusines.
