I prefer not to rely on readymade masalas to recreate the authentic taste for a luscious Chicken Biryani at home. I have been making this masala,roasting the ingredients at home, and grinding them !  Theres no better aroma than those of the roasting spices . And this homemade masala does its magic to all my biryanis. I m sharing this secret with you all ..so go ahead , add this secret little magic to your Biryanis!



  1. Roast all the ingredients on slow flame till they release aroma and get lightly browned. Cool and grind to a powder.
