This recipe has come down from the family. I owe this one to my mother-in-law .She makes the best prawn pickle. She makes the pickle masala right from the scratch but here I have used the ready made mango pickle masala. This pickle will keep for atleast 10 days. I make it during the rainy season because you often don’t get fresh fish. So during those days this pickle is enough to satisfy your fish cravings.

  1. Heat the oil in a pan. When hot, add the rai seeds and let them splutter. Now add the chopped Ginger, Garlic, Green Chillies and saute. Put in the prawns, haldi powder, chilli powder and the pickle masala. Cover and cook for 10 mins. Stir in between
  2. Add the lime juice and cook for 5 more mins. Remove from flame and store in airtight glass container.
