Ohhh its raining cakes on the blog… but this one happened for a special occassion… Its my 30th birthday…and yes i baked a cake for me!! My sister wasnt here to pamper me , and was really bored of those readymade cakes….wanted something to satisfy my fetish for chocolates and coffee…. So thats how my birthday cake happened!! Happy Birthday To Me!!!



  1. Sieve the maida with baking power and soda bicarb and mix with crushed hazelnuts( this will not let the nuts settle at the bottom of the cake while baking) Pre heat the oven at 180 deg celcius
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl till fluffy Add sugar , oil and melted chocolate while beating. Now fold in the maida and mix to a batter of dropping. Adjust the consistency with some milk if too thick . Grease the cake mould with some oil and dust with some
