  1. Wash and clean the Pomfrets and slit them sideways. Dry them and Marinate them with lemon juice and salt. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  2. Finely chop the onion, green chillies, pudina, coriander leaves and stems. Mix them together with the grated coconut, chilli powder, coriander powder, haldi powder and salt.
  3. Stuff the pomfret with the filling.
  4. Heat oil in the pan or tawa for shallow frying. Roll the pomfrets in rice flour. Coat them evenly and fry on both sides till golden.
